The first symposia – Reaching Liverpool – will be held at Edge Hill University on Tuesday the 3rd of May. The aim of the day is to co-construct an understanding of what meets women who travel along the corridor. Of particular interest is bringing together professional care-providers and non-clinical activist networks. To this end we welcome the input of:
- Clinical practitioners and care-workers (including those no longer in practice) based or previously based in the Merseyside area
- Voluntary and activist organisations who provide non-clinical support
- Women who have made the journey to Liverpool
- Academics and researchers interested in the corridor
The event will be organised as a participatory workshop. Attendees will be encouraged to share experiences and perspectives with the aim of initiating a discussion across professional and personal boundaries.
Attendees will be invited to sign-up to the project mailing list and network.
